Unfortunately for the men in red and white they came up against some good opposition who were well drilled.
The first 50 minutes of the game were in the balance with OMT's leading 5-0 and Finchley spurring some good chances to draw level and take the lead.
In the end the men from Rickmansworth ran out comfortable winners 27-0 with their fitness levels and greater consistency with ball in hand proving to be decisive.
This was a set back for Finchley which now see's them drop from 2nd in the league to 7th (although this is not a true representation as London New Zealand have dropped out of the league). But Finchley must re-group quickly for the tough test of the unbeaten Harrow side away on the 9th November.
