Finchley RFC was delighted to be part of the East Finchley Festival on Sunday 21 June, joining thousands of residents for one of North London’s best community celebrations.

The festival provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase everything that makes Finchley RFC special – teamwork, friendship, inclusivity and community spirit. It was wonderful to see so many young people picking up a rugby ball for the first time and discovering just how much fun the game can be.

The club’s vibrant stand attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout the day, with coaches, players and volunteers on hand to introduce families to the club and share information about our thriving minis, youth, girls’, women’s and senior rugby programmes.

A huge thank you goes to all the volunteers who gave up their time to represent the club so brilliantly and to everyone who came along to take part.

We look forward to welcoming many of the families we met on Sunday to Finchley RFC in the coming months.
