Saturday 22 November saw another fantastic Finchley RFC Fireworks Night, and what an evening it turned out to be! A huge crowd gathered from 6.30pm as families, friends, members and neighbours filled the club grounds for a truly spectacular display.

The fireworks show was nothing short of superb — bright, loud, colourful and beautifully choreographed. The atmosphere around the clubhouse was buzzing all night, with the bar open, music flowing, delicious food served and children sprinting across the pitch with excitement. It was exactly the kind of community night Finchley RFC is proud to deliver.

Events like this don’t happen without an enormous amount of hard work behind the scenes, and the club wishes to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved.

A special mention must go to Gemma, whose brilliant organisation made the entire evening run smoothly from start to finish. Her planning, energy and leadership were key to the success of the event.

We also want to thank Jackie, Paul, Emily, Joy, Alice, Zulu and Steve Rigby, who cooked, cleaned, set up, packed down and kept everything running throughout the night. Their hard work ensured that everyone who attended had a safe and enjoyable experience.

A massive shout-out as well to DJ Louie B, also known as Broadcøre, who gave his time completely free of charge. His music kept the atmosphere electric all evening and added so much to the event.
