Finchley RFC’s U14 Girls welcomed Letchworth’s Development squad to Summers Lane for a fantastic afternoon of rugby, capped off with a big team photo under the posts in the winter sunshine.

Both sides fielded a mix of experienced players and girls brand new to the game, and the match was played in exactly the right spirit – competitive, physical and full of smiles.

A huge thank you to Letchworth for travelling over and helping create such a positive development fixture, and to all the coaches, parents and volunteers who supported the girls from the touchline.

Finchley RFC is always keen to welcome new girls into the U14 squad – whether they’ve played before or want to give rugby a try for the first time.
