Finchley RFC has completed another important upgrade to our club facilities, installing larger hot-water cylinders to increase shower capacity for our growing number of players and teams.

The previous 300-litre cylinders have been replaced with new 500-litre cylinders. This provides an additional 800 litres of hot water overall—400 litres for each changing-room area. New zone-valve controls have also been installed to replace the old controls.

The improved system allows the boilers to operate more efficiently on a timed schedule, helping the club reduce its running costs while ensuring hot water is available when it is needed most.

We are delighted that the entire project has been fully funded through grant support from Barnet Council. This investment will help us continue improving our facilities and accommodate the increasing number of players at Finchley.

The cylinders and equipment were supplied by Boiler n Bits, an Ilford-based supplier offering a wide range of quality plumbing and heating products. We thank them for their kind support in helping to deliver the project.
