It is with great sadness I inform you that Michael Wooderson sadly passed away yesterday after a short illness.

A long-standing member of the Club who was a very generous sponsor and supporter. "Woody " as he was known to his friends run a pub in Hampstead called the Duke of Hamilton, which was a favourite haunt of many players at the time and is still fondly remembered.

"Woody" will be greatly missed by the Club and all his friends and we send our condolences to his family and friends at this very sad time.
