Trelew have one of the top youth/colts set-ups in Argentina and this will be massive fixture for our U17 Team who are now eligible to play for the seniors in the club. Our U17’s are enjoying an unbeaten season with significant victories over London Scottish, Wasps and Saracens already this year.

There are a number of the team who will be competing for 1st and 2nd team places shortly and this is our opportunity to support them and integrate them into the senior side of the club.

We are expecting a crowd of 200-250 people on the night, so this will be a massive fixture for the club – It’s not often we are fortunate enough to clinch a prestigious touring fixture like this – so please make an effort to come down and give the boys your support.

Our own Clint McGregor – who toured Argentina with Bill Beaumont’s Grand Slam side in 1981 – will be giving a presentation on behalf of the club. There will be drink, food and a fantastic atmosphere.

James Clarke, Will Cooper and Tom McAuliffe will be running through the pre-match warm up with our side.

We would like as many of the 1st XV, Hawks, Seniors and Junior Teams as possible to come and give your encouragement to the team – or pop into the changing room to wish them well.
