The RFU have defined the Stages to be taken to get back to rugby and then a gradual re-introduction of contact rugby.
Under Stage D1, starting on Monday 29th March, training and matches can be held with tag, touch and the Return4Rugby non-contact formats.
Some limited contact training is allowed – see attached Stage D guide to activity.
From 26th April contact rugby is permitted but without scrums and mauls and these restrictions will remain in force for at least 5 weeks.
Our senior players will resume training on Monday 29th March and the mini and youth section will start back on Sunday 4th April.
We are delighted to be getting back to rugby, but a few measures will be put in place to ensure we are compliant with both the RFU guidelines and government restrictions.
We have produced a separate set of web pages with team/ age grade tabs for further detail for Tag, Mini and Youth Rugby and return to Senior Playing.

It is very important that you read this, prior to attending the sessions.
We ask everyone - players, volunteers, families, and members to support us for a safe return to rugby at Finchley RFC.

George
