This is a massive milestone not just for the players, but for Finchley RFC as a club — a reflection of the strength of our women’s and girls’ pathway.

Finchley RFC is incredibly proud to celebrate a fantastic achievement for three of our own — Lily Pereira Dos Santos, Jemima Mitchell and Amelia Rockley — who pulled on the England shirt for the England Women’s U18s in their opening Six Nations fixture against Wales on Thursday 2 April, at Wellington College, Berkshire.

Despite a hard-fought contest that saw England narrowly lose 24-32, our Finchley trio made a huge impact on the international stage:
Lily Pereira Dos Santos crossed the line twice, showcasing her finishing ability at the highest level
Jemima “Mima” Mitchell delivered a key assist, playing a vital role in England’s attacking play
Amelia “Millie” Rockley put in a commanding defensive performance, “smashing anything that moved” and setting the physical tone throughout

The journey doesn’t stop here. The England U18s continue their Six Nations campaign with:
Scotland & Ireland – Monday 6 April
France – Friday 10 April
