Match Summary
The Valkyries matched Old Albanians blow for blow in a tense first half, trading tries to keep the scoreboard within two points at the break, 17-19. Ellie, Lilly and Blaisline all crossed for the Valkyries in the opening two quarters, with one of the three tries converted. • Running in support — we have strong runners with a good step; don't watch them, run with them. Get on their shoulder so there's an offload option or support at the ruck if tackled.
• Shift across on defence — the wing wasn't well protected, conceding 3 tries from players looping round the edge. Working with the wings on this, with the fullback settling in to cover when the runner is forced back inside.
