All in all, a great day and the kids had Fun!!

The first games of the season for the Under 7's got off to a flying start with a triangular match between Finchley, Ruislip and Old Grammarians. Each club fielded 3 teams: A) Cheetahs, B) Lions and C) Tigers with rolling subs. With only a couple of prior training sessions under their belts, Finchley got stuck straight in and played with great gusto against teams who had already played last season. They really enjoyed their first match experience and there were some notable performances from several players.

Despite the scoreline, it was an invaluable learning experience and now we have plenty to take back to the training sessions to work on. All in all, a great day and the kids had Fun!! A big thanks to the Parents for their touchline support.
