Women's rugby started in Finchley through the vision and determination of Deborah Griffith, now President of the RFU and after 40 years has risen again as The Phoenix. Our senior women represent a rebirth of women’s rugby everytime they step out on to the pitch. Their passion ignites flames of pure determination, at the top of the club they serve as leaders and role models encouraging teamwork.

Finchley Phoenix is an inclusive womens full contact rugby team based in North Finchley, North London. We are currently playing in NC1 league and train on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm - 8.30pm. We are proud to have experienced coaches and support from the wider club. With a strong youth section we work closely with developing skills and game knowledge. It's not just all about rugby, our social secretary keeps us busy off the pitch too! Come along and join us at one of our training sessions. Don't worry if you've never played before all abiities are welcome.
